My Youngest Brother Died
I had to do something with this. Because, until today I didn’t know how to express myself about what happened. You know, my youngest brother 39 years old had a cardiac arrest, totally unexpected. It sounds hard and it is, but in a way I don’t feel like crying. I don’t feel I want to mourn neither. It was a while ago since I saw my brother and everytime we saw each other we got along very well. Only, the last few years didn’t turn out to be so lucky. My brother and his (ex) wife went through a divorce. And he has two young kids. So, I can imagen that he didn’t feel well at all. He went through a hard time. I even think he went through a depression. And inevitably this must have caused physical consequences. My sister told me he that he...
Did 9/11 Have Something To Do With Religion?
First of all; I don’t want to blame any religious group or any entity that worships one or another god. I want to make clear something that should be obvious, but is often not seen by many of us. I have a problem with the fact that in practically every religious group on this planet people take up arms (weapons). Let’s take the religions that are practiced by the majority of the people on this planet. Whenever there is a conflict on large scale against another nation, weapons are used and innocent people become victims of a very often senseless violence. So, any group that blames another group of taking up arms should have to wonder if they are innocent or equally guilty in any case of violence on large scale on this planet. Now, the problem is that...
Do The Search Engines Love My Blog?…and Do You?
Maybe an odd question to ask, but before you read any further; do you know what search engines are? Well, search engines are the websites with the little window where visitors can perform a search query with the keywords of a specific theme and once they click the search button, those search engines return search results relevant to that search query. Just to give an example: You need an answer to a specific question and you consult the Internet – currently the biggest information source on the planet – by using a search engine such as Google. You ask a question, by filling in a few words relevant to that question in the little window at Google and Google returns multiple answers by displaying search results that lead to specific websites that contain...
Paradise: Lying on a sunbed, palm trees and a sunny beach, really?
Most people present paradise as being on a beautiful sunny beach lying on a sunbed, preferrably with a coctail in the hand, while palm trees wave some fresh air towards our bodies. Sounds great, but could this last forever? But, I want to refer to the ‘Paradise’ that is meant to exist for us in the future (explained in the Holy Bible). Prophecies tell us that paradise would be perfect. Which means that everything: the earth and the living beings who live on it would be perfect too. There will be no sources of pollution, which means no factories, no cars. The living beings will be in perfect health. So, they would be stronger and feeling more energetic than what we experience as the imperfect human beings that we are now. Perfection also implies that...
I Like Opera!
In one of my earlier posts I mentioned that I like music of all kinds. But, since my childhood I’ve always liked opera. That’s because my father used to play opera records any time of the day and even while we were sleeping. That left something inside of me. His favourite artist was Mario Lanza. And I have to admit that I’m a huge fan of his too. However, I do notice here and there that some artists perform very well on stage, singing one of the arias I like most. Among those arias are: ‘Una Furtiva Lagrima’ from Gaetano Donizetti’s opera L’elisir D’amor. This is really one of my favourite arias and one particular singer I think performs it very well on stage: Rolando Villazòn. Although I think his voice leans more...
If We Had No Eyes, Everything Would Change
Imagen if we were all blind or let’s pretend that none of us had eyes. What would our world look like? It’s just a hypotethical proposition. I mean, we were meant to be able to see. Even in colour and in depth. That’s why we have 2 eyes to distinguish depth and distance. God gave us eyes for practical purposes, but also to see the beauty of his creation, including ourselves. ( We judge the opposite sex with our eyes. ) But imagen that we would not be able to see, then everything would change. First of all we would be forced to hear better and to move carefully while walking from one place to another. There would be not so much obstacles as we encounter these days in our consumeristic world. Our world is full of ornaments and objects meant for...
Are They Keeping Us Ill On Purpose, Because It Benefits Them?
Note: that this is my opinion and only mine based on what I observe. There is no scientific proof of what I write here below. It’s just a vision. In the title I’m talking about the pharmaceutical industry. I’ve never really trusted the traditional way of curing illnesses. I mean I’ve always tried to avoid taking medicine to feel better. And with medicine I mean the chemical rubbish from which the doctors claim that it is often necessary to take in, in order to heal. In my humble opinion nothing is further from the truth. Your body needs what it needs and what is meant to be eaten naturally Now be honest with me. Is eating pills and drinking chemical fluids what we need to keep being healthy? If you ask me, I would rather say that eating all...
